Hey Y'alL!! Im going on vacation!!! This Thursday, Tyler and I are headed to Nashville and I can not even express how pumped I am!!!!! We are meeting up with one of our best couple friends, Taylor and John to go see my favorite men, Widespread Panic play on Friday and Saturday night!! They are playing at an amazing venue, The Woods at Fontanel. I could not be more excited, it been over a year and this will the tour closer, AKA a guaranteed good time!!
So after our rowdy weekend with friends, Tyler and I have decided to stay for a few more days to explore the town. Nashville is just one of those places that I have never been to but for some reason I know I will fall in love with! Knowing myself, I'll probably be like "lets move here" after a few hours!!
I can't wait to go honky tonkin', wear my cowboy boots, eats some down home food, and get away from it all for a little bit!!! I will say, I was hoping to finally get to wear some of my summer clothes but the forecast is calling for rain the whole time we are there, bummer! Im sure we will make the best of it anyway!!!
Also, since none of us have ever been to Nashville before, I'm enlisting all of blogger buddies to help me find the most amazing places to go!! Have you been to Nashville before?? Whats not to miss!! Thanks for your help!!!! And whoo hoo for vacation!!! Where are you going?

New Music you Should be Listening To!!

I live for new music. I love discovering new tunes that just put a smile on my face. Its funny how a simple melody can change your whole day! Here are a few songs that I have been jammin to recently!

Numero Uno: Steve Martin & Edie Brickell, "Love Has Come For You"
I know you all know Steve Martin as a hilariously funny actor/comedian, but did you also know that he plays the banjo!! Check out his bluegrass band, the Steep Canyon Rangers! I love their first album! Well his new project is with the legendary Edie Brickell (I love her)!! I am so excited for the release of their album!!

Numero Dos: Mayer Hawthorne, "The Walk"
Now this is not a new song, but its somewhat new to me! I just love it. Makes you want to strut down the street sayin "damn I'm fine"!!! Haha Its such a fun one, definitely a feel good song!!!

Numero Tres: Bronze Radio Return, "Shake, Shake, Shake"
Okay so maybe Im a little bit late to the party on this one but that's nothing new for me! (actually Im usually pretty punctual) but anywho, I really like this song, and this band for that matter. They are kind of Mumford & Sons esque. I really love this song, its mellow but upbeat it that sort of indie way we all secretly love!

Numero Quatro: Boy, "Little Numbers"
This happy little tune has such a great melody. Tyler often makes of fun of me for shamelessly loving new age female vocalists, but hey they call themselves Boy so that counts for something right?!?!

And thats all for now folks!! What music are you currently jammin???

Color Love.

I love colors! I always laugh when people complain about thier closets being "black and beige" because my closet is anything but! It is filled with patterns and bright colors and I like it that way! I am so excited that orange is a "hot" color (whatever that means) this season because it has always been my favorite!! I guess Im a hipster that way, liking it before it was cool and all! Anywho, here are some items I am swooning over in colors orange, gold, and turquoise! EnjoY!

Mini Vacay.

Hey Folks!! This weekend, (or Thurs/Fri bc thats my weekend) Tyler, Cash, and I went on a drive down to Moab, UT! If you have never been there, it should definitely be on your bucket list. It is truly one of the most amazing and beautiful places in the world! I'm so excited to share the pictures I took with you, and there are quite a few!! So beware, this is a long post. Speaking of pictures though, I am really working on my photography skills as I just got a DSLR! This was such an amazing place to practice my skillz! So Enjoy!

First we drove through Arches National Park and went on a few short hikes!! I love the amazing red rocks and all of the natural formations!!

After our adventures in the park, we drove up to Red Cliffs Lodge which might be the most amazing hotel/guest ranch ever! The views are nothing short of stunning! And bonus, this is pretty much where every western movie ever made was filmed!! They had an awesome movie museum that displayed pictures some amazing happenings there. Geronimo, City Slickers, Thelma & Louise, and the new The Lone Ranger, just to name a few. They also have a winery on the premises. Castle Creek Winery had some yummy wines that I tasted! I had to buy a bottle!! (or two)

As we continued down the road, we stopped off at Dewey Bridge, a historical landmark. This ended up being such a cool spot!! We found the oldest tree ever with beautiful bark, a hermits hideaway, and a bunch of other random treasures!!!

I hope you have enjoyed the pictures!! It was a super fun adventure and I hope that all of you make it out that way soon!!

The festivities this year were as crazy as ever, I saw some great costumes, hung out with amazing friends, and perhaps drank a bit too much champagne!! I thought you all might enjoy a few of the pictures. So here is a wee little taste:
